Position Summary
Mastectomy/Compression fitter working in specialty healthcare/retail setting
The Mastectomy/Compression Fitter staff member is responsible for providing mastectomy breast forms, garments and oncology product fittings with education for our clients. Position will assist with product ordering, inventory management, and retail sales. This position requires a compassionate professional who understands the sensitive nature of working with women on their quest back to a “normal life.” Provide excellent customer service and relationship building with every customer. Communicate effectively with a diverse population of staff, patients, providers, and customers.
Core Job Responsibilities
• Mastectomy fittings – measure and fit patients for prosthesis/ bra and product education
• Clinical documentation on fittings
• Compression garments off the shelf and possibly custom lymphedema garments – measure, fit, order garments. Order DME products and quality control
• Job duties also include inputting documentation into patient files, so knowledge of office skills: faxing, copying, computer skills, and the internet is needed.
